We accept baby, two, three and four-year-old funding for those eligible and are subject to availability. Government tax free childcare and childcare vouchers are also accepted within the nursery.

When will my child be eligible?
The government provide 'universal' (15 hours) funded hours for all children living in the UK, the term after they turn three years old until they start school.
Birthdays between: Children become eligible for funding from:
1 January to 31 March April
1 April to 31 August September
1 September to 31 December January
The government provide 'extended' (30 hours) for eligible working parents for babies and children the term following they turn 9 months old.
Birthdays between: Children become eligible for funding from:
1 December to 31 March January following their year of birth (with exception to those born December, where this will be the following year)
1 April to 30 June April following the year of birth
1 July to 30 November September following the year of birth
Both parents must have returned to work before the end of the month of the first month they can become eligible.
Ie A child born 2 December 2025, turns 9 months September 2026, becomes eligible the following January 2027, parents must both be back in work by 31 January 2027. Where there is a single parent family, only 1 parent must be back in work.

How many hours am I entitled to?
The government fund 38 weeks of the year, splitting the funding into three terms. At BebeTots we are open for 50 weeks, therefore spreading your government entitlement from your start date through to the end of the academic year to include the non funded weeks. The table below will give you an idea of 'roughly' how many hours per week you could be eligible for.
Some children are eligible for 'extended' (30 hours) funded hours where both parents work, or one parent works in a single parent household . Check online through the link below, to see if your child is eligible.

Can my child come before or after the funded sessions?
Hours outside of the funded sessions are available, are payable in advance and include any meals provided, such as breakfast and tea.
